Chris, FYI, and everyone else!.... A few weeks back, after verbally
contacting the station, I sent a copy of the video, "AMERICAS NON-GAME
FISH...SWIMMING IN TROUBLED WATERS", to the local Public Broadcast network
in Kent, Ohio (Channel 45), along with a letter suggesting and urging them
to air this material for various reasons. I also mentioned NANFA and the
NANFA web-site.
At any rate, I had it returned to me with a letter from one of the station
officials that gave it a very positive review, and in fact, he is going to
contact Virginia Tech to investigate making arrangements to include it on
future station programming!!!
I don't know, what they will do, although I plan on following up with this.
As this was the topic of discussion on a recent NANFA e-mail list, I pursued
contacting the station. I just thought that this would be interesting news
to forward to the list, to let everyone know (who was involved with that
discussion) of something that might actually result, as originated from the
discussion list!!! Rob C.
