Jay, in the very same line of reasoning, not all "environmentalists" are
interested in protecting the environment; some just want to be seen in the
'right' crowd, some want the good connotation & political good will derived
from being labeled as an environmentalist, etc., etc., etc. I venture very
few are entirely altruistic, just as very few hunters or fishermen fit that
category.
