I'll give it a try. I caught a 7 inch burbot about 3 or 4 years ago in the
Kettle River just south of Duluth Minnesota in June. That's the only time
I've ever come across them. I know there are a lot of them in Leech Lake,
so I imagine the come up the streams going into the lake. I've also heard
that they are voracious fish, so I guess that they would have to go in a
tank of their own with other large hard to eat fish.
