No problems with shipping live animals or plants. Be sure to mark your
package clearly on all sides of the container that it contains something
alive. Most POs do not have the equipment anyways to do this. This is the
official word from my local Post Office. Aside from that, fish boxes have to
be checked in at a desk, you can't just drop it in a blue box some where
without a return address on it. This elimnates the threat, since if it was
containing a deadly toxin or virus, would you really carry it up to the
counter and put your name and address on it?
