NANFA-- sexual dimorphism in orangespots?

I keep meaning to ask this. Aside from color, is there *anything* to distinguish male from female in orangespot sunfish?

I have a male that is *all* male... I have a "female" that's larger than mr. testosterone, and was assumed to be a female due to the lack of coloration in consideration of size. However "she" is starting to get a little orange in the eye, orange tint to "her" underside, a blue hue to the body and a nice orange stripe along the dorsal fins. "Her" spots are still very olive tho.

And yes, my hope is that "she" is as brightly colored as she's gonna git :)

I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record.
