Cool water might not be the problem I thought and the dwarf sturgeon doesn't
leave freshwater but it does breed in the headwaters of streams. One of it's
environmental problems is the rising salinity of it's habitat due to
irrigation and evaporation. I am probably tilting at wind mills but that is
what I do best. hopeless impossible causes always draw me like flies to road
kill.
