One time a local pet shop had sticklebacks, brooks to be exact. They were
labeled "African Spiny Backs". Funny how an exotic name can sell fish.
They were in a tank with assorted gouramis if I remember right. I have
found all kinds of neat fish at bait shops. The best stuff turns up winter,
since a dealer from AR sells minnows to bait shops. Local bait dealers must
vacation in FL all winter??? Shrimps tanks here I have heard of bluefins,
h. formosa, bluegills and green sunfish.
