This resident of theGreat Lakes/St.Lawrence faunal region certainly does! I
didn't know the Nearctic faunal realm regional divisions or their names until
now.I appreciate the info on that, as well as on the swamp eels, and the web
pages on the American eel and Alabama sturgeon. Thanks for bringing them to
my attention. I must say I agree with your definition of faunal realms as a
determining factor on what true North American fauna and flora are. In the
back of my mind, I think that a simple definition of real N.A. fish based on
merely looking at the land mass of N. America on a map and considering
whatever happened to reside there to be N. American to be a superficial
approach.This info settles the question for me once and for all.
