Students get feet wet studying watersheds

To learn about watersheds and threats to the
ecosystems they support, fourth-graders participating
in San Francisco Bay Savers Service-Learning projects
aren't just taking notes. They're getting their feet
wet in local creeks, improving conditions for native
plants and wildlife.

Atlantic Coast horseshoe crab harvest cut

Virginia must slash harvests of horseshoe crabs under
a conservation plan ordered by a coastal fisheries
commission Thursday.
