Commonly called rock shrimp in Japan these filter feeders use their
comb-like claws to feed on algae and other debris in the water column. Some
varieties get to be 20cm long, but yours will get no bigger than 10cm. Give
them a well planted than with lots of hiding places and perches. Domiant
males turn a dark orange colour when in the mood. Feed them with fine
grained food, green water or small rotifers or daphnia and they'll be happy.
Keep the temp between 20C and 28C and they may even breed.
