I just got done cleaning my elassoma tanks, and my South Carolina evergaldei
have spawned. I moved the fry to a larger tank to grow out. I only had about
a half dozen fry, but I am sure there are more in the adults tank. The pair
is in a 2.5 gallon tank with a thin layer of brown gravel, a clump of java
moss ( not a big clump) and a foam filter. I have been feeding them a varied
diet of grindal worms, baby brine shrimp, daphnia, paramecium, and small
drain fly larvae.
