i was studying my gazer tier last night planning some spring runs. weve been
talking of the battle creek area at the foot of mont eagle, tn. but i could
not find sweden to the west of it. i aint talking europe neither for you
smartypants kind of folk. there is a sweeten creek just sw of battle creek.
ken, bruce are you boys mispronouncing your nouns?
the head waters of the elk river are just a bit north. ive got a friend who
has a cabin near there in altamont and we would be welcome to camp on his
bluff overlooking a waterfall. neat place, beautiful. lots of car theft and
kkk activity but we can lay low. even tho this is close to home i will be
making it a full weekend as i got a good place to stay and several other
nearby sites ive wanted to explore. barrens topminnows are found near here
too. i presume they are off limits even for snorkle viewing without special
permission... jr? that whole area is interesting. lots of forest, gorges,
springs and different watersheds.
less cautious casper
