yeah most of it....i think its kind of a disservice that so many journals are so exclusive let alone rediculously priced....the colleges and universities in Ohio have a great system called OhioLink and there are roughly 6000 journals fully to partially archived...but it is only available to that demographic which is stupid. professionals such as myself have no way of getting to it , well i do, thankfully with some friends that still are in school. its a wealth of info and should be available to anyone not just an exclusive group. I was encouraged to see a new journal start up a few months ago completely free (cant remeber the name). science books in general are grossly overpriced. you do not even want to know the price differences for the same book here compared to europe. its only a matter of time before something like journals fall the way of music and they have to compromise to a cheaper legal form. in my mind it is a near violation of the freedom of information act by den
ying its
access to those who cannot afford or have the resources to obtain and someone like Kluwer or Elselvier shouldnt have that much of a grasp over who can obtain it.
