Shireen,
I'm sorry I meant to reply about the variations on an old recipe that I
use for a gelatin based recipe for feeding all my fish (killifish, sunfish,
catfish, cichlids, etc.)

Here it is:

Lee Harper

DIRECTIONS FOR MAKING FISH FOOD FROM GELATIN BASE
(adapted from Roger Hoelter's recipe as modified by Dan Katz)

These are the ingredients you will need:

• 2 cans of fish-based Friskies™ cat food (Tuna, Salmon or Whitefish)

• 1 jar baby food - strained carrots and/or peas plus optional canned
cocktail shrimp

• 4 packets Knox™ gelatin dissolved in 4 Tablespoons hot water

Blend the 2 cans of cat food and the carrots and other optionals in a
Waring™ blender for a minute or so until uniform.

Put the gelatin and water in a small saucepan; stir and heat until
dissolved. Do not overheat! Immediately pour the gelatin into the blender
and mix for another minute. Pour into Zip-Loc™ bags and freeze.

To feed, grate the frozen block of food, disperse in a 1/2 cup water and
dispense with an eye dropper or baster type syringe. Large fish will eat big
chunks, small fish will eat small pieces. All fish seem to like this food
once they get used to it.
