I was concerned if the dace would go over the overflows and they did. I
have had three of them go over and end up in the filter in the basement. The
slots on the top of the overflow boxes are about 1/2" wide so I toddled off
to Wal-Mart ( jeez the correct spelling for Wal-Mart is in my spell
checker)this morning and got some plastic mesh in the sewing dept to make
some screens to put over the slots.I don't know if they swam over the
overflows or were washed over in the night. One of the SRBD had started to
turn back to his breeding colors that he had before I moved them up from the
basement ( of course he's one of the fliter fish). I have got the Fluval 404
canister filter set up and it was like a kid with a new toy as the dace
played in the current.
