Hello All,

Well, tomorrow, Sunday January 14th is the first New England Regional
NANFA Meeting. It will be held in Dighton Massachusetts. The meeting
starts at 1 PM and all are welcome.

It's looking good so far, with NANFA members from MA, NH and CT
attending. We also have people coming from RI as well. The only New
England states not being represented at this meeting are VT and ME (no
one has called, so we assume no one is coming from those states, though a
phone call was not necessary...we will see who shows!). Vermont only has
one NANFA member and Maine has none. All New England members received
invitations to the meeting.

The weather is going to be good, my wife is baking the cookies tonite,
and I am getting stuff together for tommorow such as back issues of
American Currents, a bunch of TFH magazines featuring articles on native
fishes, as well as NANFA applications for those who are not yet members.
We will also be showing the native fishes video from VA Tech and we will
be having a little raffle for items such as minnow traps, aquarium
equipment, etc...

Hopefully everything goes well, and keep your eyes on the list Monday
for an update on the meeting. If anyone needs info regarding tomorrows
meeting, e-mail me or call me. Thanx.

Rick Rego
MA/New England NANFA Representative
