The URL I have listed below brings together the
nutrient goals you should be matching to grow plants
other than the usual ferns and mosses that grow well
under lower light levels. The first thing I would do
is contact your local water supplier and find out what
level of nutrients and minerals occur naturally in
your tapwater and then begin dosing from there. I
recomment going to the Krib and readig the Sears
Conklin paper, and then using the background
information to achieve the levels of nutrients Tom
Barr talks about at the site below. There are lots
and lots of strategies for growing plants well, and
many of them work... but not all of them work equally
well in all parts of the country.
