When the Cental Florida NANFA chapter visited the Richloam Hatchery a few months ago, our host was pulling up beaucoups d'Flagfish (Jordanella floridae) from std. mass-merchandiser type cylinder traps. "What bait do y'all use?", we asked. "None," he said. (They harvest flagfish & crawdads in quantity to feed to their bass.) The traps I noticed were sitting in water 6 to 12 inches deep.
