Happy Year of the Horse

Looks like someone got a hold of some Channa asiatica. They make good eating
and are commonly found in fish markets throughout Japan and SE Asia. Taste
like a gar or sturgeon and are usually done in a nabe-fish stew.

BTW a big one gets to be 1-1.5m long and can trash just about anything if
they set their minds to it.They are also mouthbrooders as well as having a
rudimentary labyrinth.
