----- I have had otters follow me when I was fishing the banks out at the
marsh. They would stay back aways and every once in a while a head would pop
out in the middle and watch me. If went to the other side of the dike they
would soon run across aways down and follow me on that side. Winter though
is the easiest time to see them. They travel the country side too, showing
up at larger ponds a couple miles from the marsh. They are hard on fish
populations in small ponds.
