Smaller crayfish are best, but rock bass love crayfish so much that just the
tail of larger crayfish will work. You don't have to be too careful and
worry about presentation and action and such. And if you get too fancy and
try to keep the crayfish alive and in the water too long it will crawl under
a rock or log. If you don't get a strike while it's sinking, pull it back
in and try again.
