I have done several native fish aquaria in schools.

some things to think about . . .

1. All newbie feeding mistakes may happen.
I get those little 7 day medicine holders to pre measure food into so
people don't over feed.
I add snails to eat the excess food.
I add plants to absorb nitrogen wastes when people over feed.
I ALWAYS use a pre set up (cycled) filter from home.

2. I use fish that don't need a heater.
Chubb, shiners and a few others have been very successful.
