It was a real eye opener for me when I saw my first Indiana fish advisory.
Many streams have a 100% advisory: no one should eat anything from those
waters.

I still point it out to folks I don't think are aware of it. And I try to
convice them to be as outraged as I am. >>

I must add that Indiana includes the fish consumption advisory in the free
annual "Fishing Regulations Guide." Years ago, it was a rather obscure
brochure you had to special order.
