The substrate is fine red flint gravel and I have several good sized limestone
rocks form local streams for hiding places.
Do darters build nests or do they just disperse the eggs? I have some large
redflint gravel. should I add some of this to the tank to create some hiding
places for the fry?
As far as feeding the fry-
How do I make green water? I usually try to avoid algae in my water, so I'm
not sure what I need to do to cultivate it. Any other ideas for small live
food that I might be able to culture on my own?
