RE: NANFA-- NC SC use of minnow traps

I can' find any info on this on the SC DNR site but it seems like I remember
hearing that if a trap is to be left unattended, it must have a permit. We
catch mudpuppies and other salamanders pretty regularly with just dipnets
and seines so we haven't really put much effort in using a minnow trap
(other than just tossing one out while we are sampling a site then
retrieving it before leaving).
