Flying Fish Express sells these... They were bought by Drs. Somebody and
SOmething, Liveaquarium.com. The only problem is ... they only sell dyed
ones. If you don't mind waiting a few months for the pink or blue dye on
your bitterling to fade, they're a source.

I've complained to them numerous times about selling dyed fish, to no avail.
I've never delt with LiveAquaria, but Flying Fish was/is an excellent
company.

I don't know about the mussels. My understanding is that bitterlings are
just not that picky.
