Recently there was a thread about the cost of prescription lenses for
diving masks. I found a dive shop in Kennesaw, GA, that is much more
reasonable than some of the other prices I read. If you buy your mask at
Diver's Supply (average costs are in the $50 range), they will put your
prescription lenses in for $25 extra for double lens mask, and $50 extra
for a single lens. To me, that's still a lot to pay for a mask, but it's
less than what I paid for my glasses...go figure. My Walmart mask has a
surprising amount of magnification, so I'm not missing a lot...I think.
