Steven has rigged a crude harness which keeps his machete out of the
way, yet readily available if needed. I plan to do something similar
- I don't have enough hands to lug a machete around, but there are
times when I really need one. Close encounters with stickers and
such.

Of course, Steven's training has no doubt prepared him for accidents
such as you describe :-)
