Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has much experience with North American suckers
and redhorse husbandry. We have both Catastomus and Moxostoma species in
our exhibit plan for our new facility, but I have had only marginal success
with white suckers in the past (mostly thanks to a snapping turtle). Any
help and information that folks can provide would be very helpful. Feeding
is of greatest importance to me since I am aware that these fish can
tolerate a wide range of water conditions. Thanks in advance for any help!
