If you can get the hook in a diagonal cutting pliers you can snip it off. Be
very careful that Larry does not set the other treble hook in your hand. I
have been there and done that. A thrashing fish on one hook and your hand
hooked in another is not fun. Having said this, I think your only hope is to
catch him in a net so you can hold him still while you extract the hook. It
might take two people. How big is Larry?
