The cautious prairie dog, it barks
'cause snakes and foxes eat 'em
The raccoon up a tree embarks
To flee the dog that treed' em
They're in the wild and in our parks;
They're Nature's books-- just read 'em

Monsanto businessman remarks
That farmer's fields will need 'em
They'll litigate when meadowlarks
Do Nature's job and seed 'em
Genetic engineering sparks
Debate on what is freedom.
The time is now to make our marks
To follow 'em or lead 'em.
