Another cool thing there (I had told Casper about a site, Station Camp Creek,
at the BSF) is that there are good mussel populations there. You can't
disturbe them, but this is a good place to see (while snorkeling) some of the
Lampsilis spp. displaying their lures. If you've never seen this, it's pretty
cool! More than once, I've been fooled....even to the point of inching up to
this "strange darter" with my dipnet, only to find it's not a fish at all!
