I have had good luck with green water for leptolucania ommata and jordanell
floridae fry. I couldnt get them to live on anything in the tank, so I put
the fry in the soupy culture on the window sill and within a few months had
nearly sexable juvnile fish. As for least darters they have only spawned in
my ponds, and in areas I find them in the wild the water is always clear and
shallow. Maybe the oxygen levels get too low in the green water for them
when they are fry?
