The ms. was only just recently completed peer review and submitted to the
publisher (which I think is Univ. of Chicago Press). And even though
everyone I've spoken to who's involved with it keep saying that it should be
out LATE this year, my experience with university presses is that that's an
overly optimistic projection.

On a semi-related note, I just got my copy of the new FISHES OF ALASKA and
it's HUGE!
