I'm surprised the Orange-spotted Sunfish aren't eating the blood worms and
that they aren't being aggressive. I've kept them with shiners and darters
before and they were very aggressive toward each other and other species.
They were small - less than two inches long, but they ate and chased each
other around a lot. I gave up trying to keep them as I did like their
aggressiveness. Maybe your other fish are bigger than mine were and they're
intimidated.
