Ooops. Sorry. It was Mysterman, who opined:

Well, I guess ray-finned fishes (actinopterygiins) might be considered right
& proper fish. In a monophyletic assemblage, ray-finned fish form four
groups:

bichirs, sturgeons and paddlefishes

gars

bowfins

and everything else.
