Fritz,
TFH must have pulled -- and mangled -- the collection locality from my
handwriting on the slides, for these were the captions that I submitted with
the ms.:
Elassoma okefenokee, Okefenokee pygmy sunfish
Dwarf pygmy sunfishes are not really sunfishes. In fact, ichthyologists
can't agree on what they are -- just another group of fishes that's uniquely
American-made. This is the Okefenokee sunfish (Elassoma okefenokee).

Pteronotropis hypselopterus, sailfin shiner
One of the most popular North American fishes among fishkeepers is the
sailfin shiner (Pteronotropis hypselopterus) of the southeastern U.S.

Etheostoma fricksium, Savannah darter
Darters come in a dazzling array of colors and color patterns. The Savannah
darter (Etheostoma fricksium) is found in just a small portion of South
Carolina and adjacent Georgia. Photograph by Fred C. Rohde.
Also note the mix-up of captions in Charlie Nunziata's article on pp. 101
and 102.
