BTW: In my pond I have a nice bunch of about 100 Southern Redbelly daces
from KY (many thanks again, Geoff!!!). They continue spawning even at water
temps of 26 0C and a little higher. Have three stages swimming of about 3 or
4 weeks old down to freshly hatched (meaning from 1,5 cm down to 5 mm). And
the Fundulus catenatus don4t seem to bother them as I recently found the fry
swimming around in the open water between their parents and the Fundulus.
The pond must provide very good food for that. So by this I hope the SRBD
will be established in Germany. And I am much more positive to be able to
breed the Cardinal Shiner, and Bluefin Shiner if I can get hands on them.
