thanks doug I went to www.mapquest.com and find I am only 1180.5 miles.
with pit stops for gas, food and bathrooms. say 1181 miles. at 118 mph
that is a little over 10 hours plus the time to wait for the state troopers
to make out the speeding tickets. hehe. mapquest estimates a bit over 20
hours.

but getting serious. i am out of work next week. so i will have time next
week but not april 28. is there any collecting going on close to
massachusetts next week. we got snowed under today. darn it. the small
ponds are mostly frozen still. i have seen a few open spots along some
sunny edges so far.

can anyone send me a tiny sample of daphnia. right now i have some real
green water and i want to experiment around. better might be just a few
daphnia eggs. if you have some. my address is

george arndt
39 glenview drive
harvard, mass 01451

live daphnia should be sent to general delivery harvard post office with my
phone number on the package. 978-337-2669.

daphnia would be greatly appreciated. i only need one living daphnia to
start with.
