This fish was caught in a small creek with about 2 ft.
of running water.. Not many plants but gravel and
cobble with other large stones...Swiftly flowing water
with temp around 70 degrees... The snout isnt long
enough to be a Longnose and I have caught these fish
before so if it is a baitfish escapee then I would say
it was pretty well established in an area that it isnt
supposed to be in....The colors of the photo match
very close to the specimen as it was taken from the
creek. Hope that helps and thank you all for your help
in the I.D. of this fish... I thought it may be a
stoneroller....
