Please call me at 508 460-6347 in Marlborough if you want to meet us for a ride. We will bring coffie and junk food for everyone?
I am really looking forward to this great meeting. Hopefully, we can find a group of us to go on weekend tripds. We want to fing some Massachusetts Tadpole Madtoms, Blue spotted Sunfish, and Rainbow Dace, just to name a few. The list goes on and on. We just need to find motivated people to come with us. Bring the kids anong because they seem to have the most fun.
Some of us are alreadt planning a trip to watch the herring runs in Dennid Port on the Cape. My sister who lives in Brewster is going to noify me as soon as they start running. Do you know any other good places to see this exciting herring run? Let us know when the harring are running in your area. I have my camera loaded and ready to go at a minutes notice.
I have lots of questions for you at this coming meeting.
All the best,
Rich Butts and friends

A NANFA regional meeting is planned for Sunday, April 14th, at
the Bristol County Natural History Center in Dighton, MA.
This will be our first meeting of the 2002 season, it is being
held in Massachusetts, with future meetings held in other states (like
last year).
A formal announcement will be sent to all regional members via
e-mail or regular mail.
We do not have a speaker as of yet, but we plan on updating
everyone on the Palmer River/Shad Factory fish ladder project, as well as
other projects we are planning. We have looked into the REEF
organization's marine fish survey program, and hope to use that as one of
our regional projects.
We are looking at river cleanups, as well as participation in
educational activities....so the more people who attend, the more ideas
we come up with.
Fell free to call me with any questions you may have, keep your
eye out for the formal meeting announcement.
