If anyone has any influence with anyone in Australia there is a small
freshwater spidercrab that lives there I have been trying to get hold of for several
years. If someone there was willing to help obtain a few specimens to start a
colony I would be eternally grateful. New Zealand crayfish this site has a good description of the crab
(Amarinus lacustris) although this site describes it as coming from New Zealand,
Australia has better populations in an area I think they call New South
Wales.
