This is a stunning fish. The ones someone was nice enough to send me
adapted to captivity almost immediately. Their fins are of glowing neon
blue and the same blue color is splattered across their back almost like
they got into blue neon paint. Also outstanding are the single solid red
bands in their fins and the bright orange/gold lateral stripe. The red in
the fins of the males seems to reappear and disappear as he displays for
females. As he displays his fins glow blue and the red becomes nearly
invisible. It doesn't seem the intensity of the blue in the females's fins
reaches that of the males. I wish you could all see these fish courting and
cavorting in my tank.
