At one point during our fish hunting in the Little Darby, I was stung or
bit by something while holding a wet seine pole. It got me under my thumb
on the soft part, so I think whatever it was got trapped between my thumb
and the pole. It stung like a bee sting for a little while, then I forgot
about it. Today, it is a little swollen and itchy like a bee sting or fly
bite. It was pretty cool on Thursday and we didn't see too many flying
insects, not even mosquitos. Seems like I have experienced this before
while seining. Anyone have a clue what it might have been?
