NANFA-- 2003 Convention questions

I apologize to the old hands for asking really basic questions.
I have never been to a North American Native Fishes Association convention,
and from the web site info I still don't know enough to know if I should
take the time off from work and go to it.
Friday is speakers. Excellent! I have only killed fish from stupidity, not
from knowledge. Particularly interested in Joe Scanlon, keeping and breeding
the stippled studfish, Fundulus bifax since I mostly keep killifish.
Saturday - collecting trips - what are we likely to catch that are
'aquarium' type fish that we can take home? Any native aquatic plants to be
collected? I need to start doing my homework on likely new residents in my
tanks so tank setups are ready and waiting.
auction and banquet. Auction of what? Do people bring
native fish to auction? native plants? Is this likely to be 4 or 5 things or
in the hundreds?
How many people come to this event?
Sunday - collecting trips - different places that Saturday? different
direction with different fish possibilities?
Thanks for answers hopefully from several people.
