NANFA-- off topic - crickets

While out collecting cyclops & daphnia with my oldest son on Saturday
afternoon, we came across a huge migration of crickets. They were so thick
they were creating a 'grease slick' on the road where they were getting run
over. We used my big fish dipnet with 1/8" weave to run up & down the road
collecting them & then dumping them into a 5 gallon bucket. We collected
nearly a full 5-gallon bucket of them and took them home. I placed about
half of them in our old refrigerator and am feeding the rest to my fish and
to my chickens. My question is, does anyone on the list know how to keep
crickets alive for several weeks or even months? By mid to late June, I'm
thinking the crickets would be excellent fish bait for panfish. Any advice
would be appreciated.
