They were sent to me from Luke McClurg, I believe. If I had had more than
12 hours of sleep since friday, I might be more confident of where they are
from.. Are the red belly dace different in different locations in Kansas?
The fish I have look very much like the local southern red belly dace.

Where in KS did you collect them? The occur in the extreme SE corner
of KS in the Spring River, in the Flint Hills (N-Central KS), and in
S-Central KS.
