It is not near me. I am simply concerned that when various groups undertake actions like this, they do not realize the full impact of their actions. If you asked the typical layman to name some freshwater fish, they'd be hard pressed to get out more then ten and all of them would be gamefish. The DNR, FWS and other groups that undertake these "restocking" efforts typically derive a great portion of their income from the sale of fishing licenses. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that their main goal will be to improve the fishery and not the overall ecosystem diversity. I get visions of holocaust
types of ethnic cleansing. "Lets remove these so we can stock these." Without a total vision of what makes up the waterway, under natural conditions. Soon all we'll have left is bowls of water with Bass, Bluegills and fathead minnows.

It would be interesting to get a hold of a copy of the report.
