Here is what I disagree with:
"Topics not recommended include ... arguments about the environment,
environmental legislation, endangered species laws vs. property rights, and the
role(s) of individuals, states, and federal agencies in conservation efforts."
As for politics - yeah, I can shut up, unless provoked :-)
What I don't understand is why, after all the posts we have traded back and
forth about the Evil Empire (Wal-Mart, PetsMart, PetCo, or what have you)
without generating any ill will, a discussion of pet stores is suddenly streng
verboten?

To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk
around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say,
"Sorry, got these sacks."
