You are of course correct. Many times predators have been killed off with the
excuse that they competed with humans for food animals when in reality only
humans kill off animal populations to point of extinction. Cod fishermen often
blame seals and other marine mammals for the decline in cod and other food
fish when it's really humans that are to blame. maybe we should put a bounty on
carp, say maybe .10 cents a carp, probably break the bank but it might get rid
of carp or-in-least cause a big decline in their numbers.
